About Los Gigantes

The cliffs of Los Gigantes

The Los Gigantes cliffs rise straight out of the sea to about 600 metres, at the edge of the Teno Rural Park. The best view is from the Archipenque lookout in Puerto de Santiago. Below them, the marina is where boats leave to watch the pilot whales and dolphins of this coast.

Puerto de Santiago and Playa de la Arena

Puerto de Santiago runs along the coast south of the cliffs. Its beach, Playa de la Arena, is volcanic black sand with clean water and a Blue Flag. Further south lie the village of Alcala and the large resorts of Guia de Isora.
